Connecting with More Customers
With the increasing popularity of iPods, iPads and iPhones, it is time for companies to take the plunge and offer an application for customers to connect with. After a recent survey customers that entered our store, more than half of them had an Apple product, so it really seemed to make sense to develop a way for them to shop right from their device.
In order to do that, however, we had to get in touch with an
iPhone app development company to see what they thought would make sense. We are specialists in the automotive industry, and realize that we don't know much about programming.
After the initial consultation, we let them get to work. I was really hoping to see that the vision that I had in my head would match exactly what they delivered, and honestly, it ended up being very close. It took a few revisions and a bit of polishing, but we finally had something that we would share with our customers and I really hoped that it would be a hit.
Now, just a few weeks later, our application is used by forty percent of our customers, and I am hoping that by the end of the year, the numbers will be around fifty percent. We have had a lot of good feedback and support by our customers, and I think it has really opened up a new venue for us to connect with our clients whenever they feel like shopping with us.
