Illness can hit anyone at any given time, but each person recovers differently. If someone special to you has been recovering from surgery, getting over an illness or simply hasn't been feeling like him or herself you will need to purchase a gift that accurately conveys your feelings. In some instances, sending a thoughtful card or even a fresh fruit basket will help to lift up the recipient's spirits, but if he or she will be in recovery for a long period of time these types of gifts may not be enough.
